Base: Afghanistan/Pakistan – A 60 minute documentary, which studies the hypothesis of overflowing terrorism between Afghanistan and Pakistan; the intertwining of the Taliban with Pakistani secret services; the interests which uphold drug trafficking in the territories occupied by NATO. It was shot on the territory of both countries, the camera has pictured military operations and bases, religious schooling from the madrasa and mosques to universities, political elections and human destinies marked by the war against terrorism.
The story is structured around a unique interview with the last ambassador of the Taliban in Islamabad taken immediately after his release from the U.S. Guantanamo base and his return to Afghanistan.
